Summer Reading

Summer Reading Sign-Ups will begin May 24th. Anyone who would like to participate in the Summer Reading Program can come in and sign-up. Reading for the program will begin June 13th.

The Summer Reading Program is a six week program for all ages. We encourage everyone to read twenty minutes a day or two hours a week minimum. At the end of each week you can bring your calendar in for a coupon for that week. If you finish all six weeks you can attend our end of summer activity! Prizes will be awarded to all of those that finish the program and the top ten who have read the most hours in each age group will get a special prize!!

Storytime Daily at 2:00 Starting June 13th (Same books read each week.)

Activity Day June 25th at 10:00

End of Summer Reading Activity August 13th from 7:30-9:30

New Booklists

We have four new booklists!  These lists contain the top 100 books from the Modern Library in four different categories.  For more information, please see the Recommended Reading tab.

Online Catalog Back Online

We are pleased to announce that the Online Catalog is now up and running and should hopefully remain available from here on out.  We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the outage and thank you again for your patience

Hyrum Library services are available for free to residents of Hyrum, Nibley, and Wellsville.  Residents of other surrounding areas in Cache Valley may obtain a library card for a $30.00 annual fee.  To obtain a library card, you must provide proof of residence (driver's license, utility bill, check, etc...)

The Library provides a varied collection of books, audio-books (tape, CD, and Playaway), videos/DVDs, periodicals, and reference materials in both English and Spanish.

Internet-access computers are available for both children and adults.  The Library additionally provides wireless access.
